Project purpose

Céphaline is a project followed by last year students belonging to the graduate major “Engineering of active natural ingredients” from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier (French highly selective academic institute of Chemistry science, Research and Technology).

The project purpose is to elaborate a product using an active molecule extracted from the vegetable world. It implies the choice of an innovative cosmetic or pharmaceutical product, the bibliographical study, the active molecule extraction, the prototype making, the packaging, the marketing research…

Our team has chosen to create a cream based on spirulina and peppermint. This cream will be sold in drugstores, specialized shops and on the net. A special feature of this cream is to combine a skincare along with a headache treatment.
